So, tomorrow some of the lads are getting together to see Eragon, the not-altogether-good film version of a much better book. I've already seen it, but it's just an excuse to get everyone together anyway, so I said I'd go. But now we've just been reminded of a film showcase at St. John's being held in the Lecture Hall tomorrow night at 7-9pm,

People think they get choices now?! My PR department has obviously not been breaking enough legs of late...

Eragon was so-so. Haven't read the book, but pacing made it feel like a lot was glossed over. Not much of a selection in the cinema atm really, even with Christmas so close.
