Tiredness

Mar 13, 2007 06:35

It's 6:36am and I'm still waiting to get up. I just couldn't sleep at all last night, worrying about the film I'm working on in the morning because the college screwed us out of the locations we wanted. Rargh. Not fun. Three days of shooting followed by more meetings on Friday for the remaining films I'm involved in. All I'm doing these days at ( Read more... )

AD = assistant director?

Some people have no staying power. Actually, I've been pretty close to letting my account lapse on numerous occasions, but something always seems to come up to renew my interest shortly before my subscription is due ^^; I hope you stripped your characters and sent the funds onto cos before deleting yours. And does this mean that you're likely to revisit KGS or another Go server?

Yep, that's that the AD is. Basically, it means I spend the whole day shouting at the crew to be silent, heckling with the director to get him to finish the shoot before we're punted off college grounds, and grappling with the producer. But it's still fun.

Oh, I'm not deleting them... I'll probably go back sometime for a month or so. I just have no interest in playing now. And as for the Go servers... mebbe? >_>

There has been various discussion as to how ling Blizzard leave an inactive a/c before purging it. I let my sub lapse for about a month at one stage, shun for much longer. It makes sense that they are kept for as long as is practical, since the possibility of someone renewing their sub is probably financially attractive, but as I've never seen anything official in type, don't rely on it to still being there when you return.

I think I'll comment on Cobh and Go in a brief entry, rather than reply here.

Well, my account was active for around a year, as I was able to just keep going when I started again this year. No idea if they even have a limit.

It's not about sticking it out! I just have no interest in it. Getting to level 70 is no compelling reason for me to play... it's just one level grind after another. And it can be very boring on your own. I love Star Wars, that didn't mean my interest kept me anywhere near Galaxies long enough for me to actually talk to another person on the servers.

No game that isn't an RTS holds your interest for very long...
