Pim's (and my parents') adventure.
During my stay in America, Pim spent time with my parents. He did not particularly like that, because my parents have a dog (who wanted to be friendly at first but Pim didn’t like him), and there’s my brother’s baby (who bullied him!). let's start with the beginning. Fortunately, the bus to Provo left in time. When we entered the desert, we were admiring the pretty rock mountains and the desolate area, but that soon passed when after two hours, we STILL saw only desolate area and rock formations. Woke up at 9 this morning, because I set the alarm ;) Jamye was already waiting for me, so I hurried up and got dressed. We had all these wild plans for today - visit the French Quarter, visit some famous dead people in the above-ground cemetery (so cool! Last night, I left Charlotte behind, and while writing this, I am on the train to New Orleans. The train system is so much different than ours! I had to check luggage, wait until it was time for boarding and before that, nobody could access the platform, visitors weren’t allowed to go onto the platform, they assigned a seat… and it’s frickin’ cold ( Read more... )
