I finished reading Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller, a book Senay lent to me. Its subtitle reads "Nonreligious thoughts on Christian spirituality." I've had some pretty well-known beef with Christianity from a young age, being raised in what I've always considered to be a hostile Catholic environment. I'll spare the massive amount of details, but in ( Read more... )

Holler for getting an LJ mention. =) I miss our little dorm rooms...I've been thinking about them a lot lately.

Me too! I just keep having the most random flashbacks of the most trivial things. The other day, I thought about that time we watched Edward Scissorhands with Dan and tried really hard not to cry, but then I looked at you and you looked at me and tears came out and Dan was all, "Oh my God, are you serious?"

I have always liked you and wished you'd be around LJ more, so no problem there. And I like your introspective "babble". Helps me get to know you better. =)

I think I will be around more. I've decided that I really do need to both hone my writing abilities and empty out my head every once in awhile. I carry way too much baggage around up there.

I wish I could write like you. I get the urge, then it goes away. I am verbal. That isn't the point of this though.

I love you. I don't think I understand you as much as I think I do. I wish I could help you more than I do, and I know I do. I know this was about you, but it makes me wonder sometimes.

You are very helpful and do so much just by being you, as cliche as that sounds. You are very verbal and I am very written, haha. I work better when I have time to process it the way I need to. If I have to speak, it gets jumbled around too much. I think that's what balances us out so well. We're very similar but very opposite at the same time. (We're Cancers, remember? It's all a 69. ;))
