I have detention every night for the next month now. Really, there was no need for Pince to be so upset. I think the third years look better as worms than they did as humans. More useful, too ( Read more... )

You really didn't need to take such drastic action.

Really Megan, you're worse than Millicent some people. There's no need to be so malicious.

Someone needs to put a stop to it.

You're not going to put a stop to it by retaliating. That'll just work them up more. The only thing that can put a stop to it is if we win on Friday.

Giving them a solid pounding seemed to work just fine. If they know someone is going to beat on them if they keep it up, they are bound to stop.

If not, more fun for me.

Really, Megan, there's no need to go to those measures. Victoria, Dennis Creevey and I have been trying to calm the more insane members of our house down and stop the gloating.

Yes, but that takes too long. I am more into instant gratification.

The teachers were right to stop you from trying to feed Gryffindors to the Giant Squid. True, they shouldn't be doing what they are, but worse has been done by members of other houses leading up to big matches. Alicia Spinnet had her eyebrows hexed by Miles Bletchley until they grew into her face, after all.

And even though some of it has been really bad, most of the gloating people haven't been hexing people's hair, or singing obscene songs, or charming "L's" to follow around members of the Ravenclaw team. I know it's still wrong, but just remember that the worst has been done by only a small group.

Roger Davies has said something in his journal, so hopefully it stops now.

They spoiled my fun, though. The Giant Squid would not have eaten the fourth year, but it was funny to see his reaction. Spinnet? Who is that? Oh. Her. That was hilarious!

Exactly, which makes it easier to end it with a few swift threats. Of course needing to follow through with it when they do not take you seriously.

How many of them have you seen with enchanted journals?
