Reading woes
I have this little problem with books.
There are too many of them that I wantneedwant need to read. I'm a little jealous of the regular subway-riders ... that's prime reading time, and there's something about reading whilst driving that's illegal and dangerous. Goal: ride bike for maybe twenty minutes.
Surprise: Came back in fifteen? (didn't exactly know what time I left) ... and discovered I did two miles. Yay! Now if I do 2.5 or 3 tomorrow... and avoid the Big Scary Hill by my house (went down it two years ago. I am still amazed that I'm alive)... -

I bought a lamp for my bedroom today.
12 bucks.
Gorgeous, old, dusty three-lightbulbs lily-pad-type of table lamp. I was washing one of the globes (because, wow, it's dirty) ... and managed to wash off all the pink paint. Whoops. Waiting until my mother, Queen of Cleaning Old Things, returns home from work.
