I honestly don't know if I trust myself to write right now. My hands are nearly shaking. No potions-making for me today, it could be disastrous.

I think I may have caught a cold from being out in the rain last night. I honestly have trouble believing that there are people who consider a late-night walk in the rain to be... fun. I will definitely ( Read more... )

I am sorry you are sick. Would you like me to get you some chicken soup from the kitchens? I had an awful cold last year and one of the house elves made me some wonderful soup.

I appreciate the offer, but I think that I'll be all right without soup.

All right...if you are sure....

I should know in a little while who Dumbledore thinks I should do my research with. Do you plan on staying in the library?

What on earth were you doing outside in the rain last night, Severus? [private: unlockable by Severus] I thought you had better sense than that.[/private]

Lovely, just one more reason for you to gripe at me. Because, of course, I'm sure I'll have to hear you complain about how this was all my fault from now until the end of time.

Be thankful that the worst you got was a cold.

A cold? Well it is a bit damp even in the dungeons though I see it as an excuse to bundle up. Or at least to be able to sit in front of the fire and stare at it and not be accused of being a would-be-pyromaniac as, after all, a little willing the flames to burn hotter never hurt anyone.

However do not underestimate the extraordinary fun one can engage in, in the rain. Puddles for instance are a source of great sport, especially when someone first years and Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs oh my! happens to trip over their own clumsy feet straight into the mud. Though a little push doesn't hurt any one either. And the look on their faces… Priceless. Worth a thousand words and more.

On the other hand, there are few things that cease to amuse me.

[Private: Unlockable: Slytherins Only]Cold's or any other form of illness are not fun. No offense ol' chap but try not to breath on me if you are coming down with something... though I have heard rumor that if you kiss someone you'll be cured as you are thus passing it to them. It's like a ( ... )

For Merlin's sake, don't give him any ideas

That has to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I highly doubt that's true. Otherwise, I'd probably have been sick before he ever realized he had a cold. Where did you hear that?

Never heard it before? I've never tried it myself but I hear some claim that it does work.

And as we are being refused help from the School Nurse, well, desperate needs call for desperate measures. After all it wouldn't do if all of Slytherin was under the weather now would it?
