Let me begin by saying HI! Its been a while since I logged into LJ.

Let me also say I am a big fan about not worrying about things. I am all in support of it.

That said, plastic is still a concern. What concerns me about plastic is the Pacific garbage patch. http://www.usnews.com/science/articles/2010/02/26/a-sea-of-plastics.html

The problem isn't the plastic in landfills, its the plastic we don't keep track of and put in a big pile. It goes out to oceans, fish and birds eat it, die, rot, and the plastic remains for other fish and birds to eat. I don't know what we're going to do about it, but it should probably involve keeping better track of our trash, or making and using less disposable plastic.

As far as the Universe's missing matter and wormholes, I agree, no need to worry. Won't affect us, probably. But we should still be curious enough about it to keep exploring and try to find out what's going on.
