I started teaching tablet weaving not long after I learned it... I still learn stuff from the people I teach! I have a super basic handout... few books for further reading... 6 cards, chevrons so they can play with diamonds and X's... also have some of my uber fail pieces of weaving... what not to do =) I also keep my classes small... max of 4... and make sure that I've got a two hour block. Lots of one on one time...

I'm a hands on learner... I have a really hard time learning something brand new from a book. Show me the basics and let me get comfortable with those... then expand into something more complicated.

I suggest that people teach the way they learn... it'll be something they're comfortable with. Also, if you have a chance, teach someone the way you're planning on teaching your class. That way you can get a critique and suggestions!
