I'm woe-ing with you. My body is beginning to ache again and I don't like it. I want to start working out again, but I'm letting my having to move get in the way. I have a job interview on Tuesday; hopefully it will be promising and I can get back to reality. And it's with Nike. If that isn't motivating, then I don't know what is!
I am so there with ya!mywildchildSeptember 11 2010, 16:04:46 UTC
I know how you feel and what you are going through! Sounds totally cliche I know, but it is true. What about finding a sport you like and a team to play on? I know that there are women only soccer teams, softball teams, basketball teams... hell there is even a womens football league in Portland. (Or you could always take up fighting! There are plenty of folks who would be more than happy to help get you started and I am fairly certain that a well placed bruise or two would motivate you to train and be better fast!)
Just as a point of interest, I learned once that it takes something like 21 days to make a habit, but only 5 or 6 to lose it. The odds are really stacked against us as humans to get anything that is "good for us" done, but it is so worth it in the long run to stick with it and push through.
Yep in the same boat with ya there. I haven't been to the gym in who knows how long. I stopped walking and really doing anything physical for awhile. I can tell that I don't feel as good and really don't feel like doing much of anything. It's hard to get back into a routine that is good for us. Maybe sit down in the next couple of days (at the gym or at home) and write down a plan of action. Write down what you want to do at the gym, or what you could do at home. Maybe you can give yourself some type of incentive (not sure what but something) if you follow through for 1 week at a time doing your routine. Heck I think that's a good idea and I am going to do it!! Good luck and you still look great :)

I have had great success with making myself do 30min of anything active every day - it started slow but the cumulative effect has been awesome
We are also on a de-inflamation diet and that has helped tons

I believe in you, even on days when you don't.

There is no way I have time to play a sport of my own. I just need to get serious again, I just don't know where my motivation has gone.
