I GOT A NEW CELLY!!!

I have arrived in New Haven and I'm currently sitting in my law student dorm. I'm feeling a little overhwhelmed by all the stuff I want to get done.

Yale's campus, especially the law school, reminds me a little of Hogwarts. I was born on Harry Potter's bday...

I need to stop listening to reggaeton. It whips me into a frenzy of... impulses that I might regret following. Surprise - if you listen to people singing sexy lyrics in a romance language, with a gritty, addictive beat, it's really easy to lose your mind.

I have a shameful confession to make about something that has perplexed me for years on end.

I swear to god. I could hike sixteen miles and good ole righty is in the clear. Left armpit will, however, stink up a storm unless deodorant is applied. WHY?!?!?!

my mom is getting sad about me leaving so soon, so she cooked up a ton of Costa Rican food. Frijoles negros con arroz blanco, gallo pinto, platanos maduros, y pollo asado. MMMmmmm......  I think it is the secret goal of every hispanic mother to feed people as often as possible.

 My man is gone. He left yesterday morning around 10. I cried.
