Is the computer help desk open during the Summer?

My computer is already giving me trouble - right now it's refusing to read discs. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and everything else I could find that might work to no avail, and running a lens cleaner didn't work either ( Read more... )

im assuming you mean the d600 that we all had to buy. the laptops suck, just so you know. everyone has problems with them. try calling the help desk, but theyre useless sometimes. otherwise, call dell. theyre pretty prompt with helping clear up any issues.

Definetly call Dell...and don't even try to have them fix it. Just ask for a new one, and they'll send it overnight. It's an easy install and it'll work, at least for awhile. I'm on my third CD drive...I know.

I can't even get onto mine cause it says I need to log in and I don't know what password I'm supposed to use... I'm bringing my current laptop with me as backup in case I have issues with the school one and need to write a paper or something last minute...
