17 days until my birthday!
I baked sugar cookies and decorated them last night. And since I had about 40 of them and no one to share them with, I brought them all in a box to school. They were completely CRUSHED before lunch time. I only got 1, haha. And they were so pretty; I made them all hearts or stars and iced them a variety of colors. I just finished watching Paris Je t'aime. It was really good, of course. I thought it would be. There's a really incredible cast. Almost every story had someone I recognized. Haha, and I laughed at Elijah Wood's story with the vampire girl. It was so silly.

a time to mourn and a time to dance
Today was the funeral, and it was very lovely. Dawn would have loved it. Uncle Andy brought some of her music boxes to the chapel, and they were playing while everyone was milling about before the service started. Instead of actually sleeping like I should be, I researched what your sleeping position says about you. I sleep on my stomach with my arms tucked up under me, and according to recent studies, that makes me brash and gregarious.
