I said goodbye to Princess Jasmine, one of my best non-human friends on Tuesday. She had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was experiencing a sharp decline in health. The euthanasia was at home. The doctor discussed the steps as we were going through them and then she was given two injections. One to rest peacefully and one to end her

Jasmine sounds like a wonderful cat. I'm sorry she has left this earth but glad that you got to accompany her as she made her way through the veils.

Thank you. I was very afraid of her dying alone these past few weeks and it really began to seem like a possibility towards the end.
