Nationality: British

Family: n/a

Occupation: n/a

Sexual Orientation: Asexual
Marital Status: n/a

Physical Appearance: Tall, slender and handsome, Balthazar is a very attractive man. He is always immaculately groomed, and keeps his hair slicked back and his suits pressed in crisp lines. Those with a second sight might see his eyes flash red every once and a while.

Canon Puncturing? Sure.

AT LAST VOYAGES
Warden: Arnold Judas Rimmer

Room: Level 6, Room 5
Description: Thanks to Rimmer, Balthazar's room is barely habitable. There is a small, uncomfortable cot and a wardrobe for his suits, and that's it. The bathroom is hardly better, with a cramped shower and a bar of soap, a toilet, a rickety sink, and nothing else.

POWERS & ABILITIES
Abilities: Balthazar has all kinds of speshul demonic powerz. He could create illusions and summon hordes of insects that ate people from the inside out. Probably among other things not shown in the movie.

Limitations: On the barge, Balthazar is fully human and has no abilities.

HISTORY
Lazy, have a wiki.

PERSONALITY
Balthazar, as a half-breed demon, is completely arrogant, believing humanity to be beneath them. While Gabriel views them as children, Balthazar sees them as toys, his to play with as he chooses.

He is also calm and composed at all times. He only gets flustered when Constantine threatens to absolve him and send him to Heaven. When Constantine gets the upper hand and starts anointing him and reading his last rites, Balthazar panics and starts stammering and falling all over himself to give Constantine the information he wants. But he never blubbers or cries, it's a fairly manly sort of a panic. And it isn't the pain he fears, in fact, he seems rather ambivalent towards pain, expressing very little when he's thrown around by fiery explosions and shattering glass, has holy water splashed on him, and is finally blown to pieces. Even when he's lying in little bits, he doesn't give any indication that he cares about the pain he must be in - he's just indignant that Gabriel cheated him. It's not pain he fears most, it's forgiveness.

Because he is so clearly superior to everyone, he is rather snide and definitely vain, in his appearance as well as his way of relating to others. He's always quick to point out how he's awesome and everyone else has heaps of problems. His sense of humor is rather dry and fairly refined - he doesn't make potty jokes, but prefers simply to taunt and tease in his high-class British accent.

He is motivated by purely selfish means. Whereas Gabriel wishes to bring down Hell on Earth to weed out the unworthy and make mankind prove that they deserve God's love, Balthazar joins up to cause chaos, to toy with people, and because Gabriel promises to resurrect him after he plays his part and Constantine turns him into tiny charred bits.
