Well, I crunched the numbers, and it looks like the economy is doing pretty good without me, so I'll just let it do its thing. The small market Canadian NHL teams say that they will lose less money by not having a hockey season. That's getting close to a profit. I may have to intervene, but just this once ( Read more... )

On the other hand, the Saskatoon Symphony posted a $25000 profit for the first time in eons. It was on the CBC. Probably because of their snazzy new jerseys.

Sooo, painting houses, eh? I had a friend who did that for a while (a summer) and she liked it a lot. She found it "therapeutic". Except for when the rich assholes whose houses she was painting would breathe down her neck to make sure she didn't fuck up their beautiful walls. I guess that was a bit annoying. But hey, isn't the money supposed to be pretty good?
