I have discovered why she requires both a SCARF and a BUBBLE HELMET. At least one of these things may be superfluous! But both of them together are SUPER. <3

It's amazing how many unfamiliar things were related to these women, they had perfect order and rigor in their lives, they have something that's much more different from women today, I can't exactly define what but it intrigues me. I imagine that back then everything about airline flights made quite an impression to passengers.

I’ve got the occasion to be on an anniversary flight with my old dad, who was a jet charter pilot back in the 60’s, and several of his surviving colleagues from Pan Am; the flight attendants of this anniversary flight have been dressed up with authentic uniforms from 20’s to later 80’s and one of them was wearing a bubble helmet pretty much like the one in the picture.
