Satanism isn't worshipping the Devil. It's worshipping yourself. Believing you are your own god, and you are responsible for your rights and wrongs. I know this because I've read up on it. Satan is involved, but more about the Baphomet than anything else. (The Baphomet is the 5 pointed star, upside-down. The two top points represent his horns, the two side points represent his ears, and the one bottom point represents his goatee.) Satanists don't deny there is a God, they just rather pay attention to Satan. They don't have to worship him to believe. I think this is smart, although I don't believe Satan exists, which is why I remain Agnostic (someone who doesn't have a religion, but they're not denying God or Satan or whoever exists ( ... )

This depends on what type of religion you're talking about. If you're talking about Christianity, catholicism, mormanism, or anything relating to God, then I guess I'd have to say its evil. I don't really like that word for this particular subject, but its the word of choice you used ( ... )

First, I don't believe religion is neither good nor evil, it's just the fact that it controls the lives of believers. Second, there isn't one "true religion." What everyone thinks of as a religion is really only a set of beliefs that has been passed on to other people. The only set of beliefs that could actually be considered a religion is Judaism (Jewish if you're a moron and didn't know that). Why you ask? (if not, fuck you) It's because it was the very first set of beliefs that put a single supreme omnipotent (all powerful) being in the heart of it all. Christianity, Catholicism, Mormanism, Protestant, any of those sound familiar? All of those are really revised sets of beliefs, with the same supreme being at the center of it all. Using this information, it is only logical to say that the only "religion" is Judaism, all the others are just misinterpretations, revisions, or simply bullshit in the case of mormanism. My point is, there is no way to say whether religion is good or evil, it's just a matter of how you interpret ( ... )
