I heard from my friend Tom, my buddy in Iraq, tonight. That made me incredinly happy to know he's alive and well, and getting paid to sit around heh. I can't wait til he gets back, he has a lot waiting for him. My heart goes out to him and all those like him, trudge on brave friends.

As the long weekend draws to a close, I believe my faith in mankind's ability to do good grows. I realize how much self-worth, self-confidence, and in the end, how much my conscience means to me. I'm going back to school today, as much as my stomach protests. Funny story, I cried over a book last night. As I look back, I laugh.
