I blame my parents for a lot.

I don’t know how to get passed that. I don’t know how to grow up when I never learned things I should have learned as a child.

sure, but you also have amazingly loving parents, and that's the important part. you've made it out there in the world just fine so far.

the past is the past dude but the future is yours, you may be in a bit of a funk right now but it's your responsibility to get excited about living your life the way you want to, start getting interested in new things and creating stuff.

you're still young so don't wait and end up regreting not doing anything.

there are books and self help shit out there that can help you too.

gotta get over that! the most important thing you can learn from is life experience. you're your own person, and just because your parents were your earliest conception of how to act, doesn't mean that their experiences (or what they tried to condition in your young, moldable brain) will in no way equate to yours. think of how many other people's parents have fallen short of properly equipping their child socially? think of how many people DON'T know how to act.
you have to learn your own way, your parents are only human and don't know everything.
