I'm babysitting and watching Alice in Wonderland.

One of the kids just entered the living room and proclaimed, "I'm scared."

"Scared of what?" I asked.

"Scared of living," was his answer.  He is 5 years old.

I'm really happy.

Ashbaw and I had some quality Chels-and-Ash time today.  Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, crazy traffic, french fries, annoying boys and fat girls and karma in the form of bird poop.  It was good times.
