biology and chemistry exams are out of the way, feeling more confident about the chemistry than I am about the biology but I think I should hopefully have passed them both.  done well enough in the other components of the module that my overall grade should be ok.

quite exciting being out on the farm - lambing season is rapidly approaching, it will be fantastic to get hands on experience, and we can do as much as we'd like.

we have to sign up for shifts, which start on about the 12th feb. 2 students per shift, 3 shifts per day - 10pm-6am, 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm. so it's just going to be a case of hoping all the ' ( Read more... )

essay is all done and printed, finally. so sick of badgers now though, I need cute fluffy badgers to make me hate them less... badgers in themselves are relatively interesting, procedure on how to rescue and rehabilitate them less so.

Gah! The hmv online sale has lots of dvds for £3, including a few Hitchcock ones, and cds that I was buying for cheaper than on amazon, and now I really am spolit for choice (and procrastinating, seeing as I should really be writing up lecture notes about the mass extinction events, oops).

play.com seem to have a fair few Vincent Price films in their sale for £5 each... not sure it's a reasonable thing for me to be spending my student loan on though but I'm so tempted!

I may just buy Theatre of Blood... unless there are even better films I haven't seen?  I'm tempted by a lot of the cheap horror box sets too, this one looks ( Read more... )

Just thought I would quickly post this picture of Abi (my niece) attempting to eat the dress I made for her! Apparently she likes to eat the flowers around the neck. Hoping to be able to visit her finally either next week or one weekend soon, assuming work and things allow! :)
