Feeling...derailed.  I've been doing so well lately, but knowing that I won't see him for 2 weeks really makes me feel lost.  The house is too quiet, and it's hard to bring myself to give a shit about anything when he's not here.  I don't think he realizes just how much I need him.

Why is it so much harder to be nice to someone after you've been with them a long time?  If i had known from the start that he'd be such a jerk, would i still have stuck around?  Probably.  Love is stupid.

My laundry strike is still in effect.   He either hasn't really noticed, or he just isn't saying anything about it.  Yet.  He did do a load of laundry on his own, but that was several days ago, and those clothes are still sitting in the dryer in a big wrinkled wad.  I'm going to move them out of the way so i can do a few loads of my clothing and ( Read more... )

I somehow managed to get him to help me with some housecleaning before our July 4th party, which he referred to as 'woman's work.'  He then spent most of the weekend in his usual spot (the recliner) doing his usual thing (watching tv and playing on his laptop), ignorant to the fact that i was literally on my hands and knees from dawn to past dusk ( Read more... )

I am the man of the house yet again, for getting blisters doing yard work.  It's fucking hot outside.  Being hot and sweaty is NOT a favored state of mine to be in.  I think i would be much happier in a cooler climate.
