It's the method I use to start sketches that encourages it, in pen it's even harder to control, but comparatively I like the stuff I do in ink a lot better than when you first challenged me to draw just in permanent media, which of course I have you to thank for. But I'll be frank, bob, I can do stuff like http://www.somethingpositive.net/sp05182010.shtml , but I want to do stuff like http://shilin.deviantart.com/#/d2qp2la , that takes more thought into the shape of things and works to produce something very aesthetically pleasing, rather than being more functional than aesthetic. So while I'm willing to explore and do more comical-oriented things, my real issue is needing to get into the habit of planning out what I intend to do first before trying to build-a-person part by part; if I have the base, the lines become much more certain.
also yes, finishing things will be coming more in the future, I just need to either replace my shitty ass tablet or sacrifice a lamb to make the current one work.
