I was going to mention that I had no idea the work was so extensive...

I still have to send you a postcard ... hopefully, you know, before Lilah's a toddler...

Hey, she's starting to show up in the tag list...

I hope people will keep sending them until forever, so you've got plenty of time :-D

And yeah...even with the upstairs FUNCTIONAL, we still have to start Lilah's room...I promise that all my angst over the project getting completed before the child gets birthed is totally founded :-D

I'm very impressed with your house. And your shirt is adorable. You look all sinny and not ginormously pregnant like I did!

Thanks. I'm impressed with it myself. I can't believe there's a room up there, and I also can't believe it wasn't always just there.

I assure you that were I to turn sideways, you would see how ginormously pregnant and not at all skinny I look :-D Plus, I tend to look a little less hugemongous from the front when I wear regular t-shirts. This is a XXL t-shirt from Target. LOL

I spent most of my pregnancy wearing regular t-shirts, mainly because I didn't want to buy maternity clothes. I had several men's small shirts, also from Target, and they managed to last right up until a couple weeks before Audrey was born. By the end even my actual maternity shirts and tank tops were too small.

Oh, just so you know, baby clothes are not manufactured with standarized sizes. Audrey is only 6 weeks old and she outgrew her newborn clothes two weeks ago. She's now wearing most of her 3-6 month clothes and her legs and feet will soon be too big for them. I don't think she's an especially big girl. I think she weighs about 12 pounds and is about 23 inches tall. So just make sure you have clothes in a few sizes, you never know what will fit right at first.

Oh, we got clothes that should fit her until she weighs at least 20 pounds. Yeah...If there's one thing we're good on, it's clothes!

Thanks - we actually also used that same spread in the downstairs bedroom, but with a dusty blue instead of the green. Ben wanted green walls upstairs, so...green it is! I like it, I just have had green bedrooms before and was hoping we'd go in a different color direction :-D

I used to have a boss who wore striped shirts every damn day. I love stripes in spite of that, though.

Yeah...it's a bit like having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich almost every day for 12 years of school...
