There are plenty of people photographing shoes in this world, you are the only one photographing Rachael from within. That said, I'm sure you could take lovely photographs of shoes, but I also think it is likely they would be dark, vivid, impassioned, quirksome, strange and beautiful, like all of your art, expressing your unique perspective. I feel like I've seen a great deal of variety in your subject matter, but obviously these are things you return to, like your gut wrenching self portraits. I don't think this is in any way a bad thing though, most artists explore similar things over and over, to delve deeper and deeper and return with new and beautiful variations each time.

Your photography continuously impresses me. I don't know if you retouch the colors in post or not. What camara are you using nowadays? You used to use a sony powershot no?

Good memory.

Yes, I had a Sony Cybershot... little brick of a camera.

I've upgraded. About a year ago I got the Pentax K10 DSLR. I love my camera.

Yesssss. I do retouch just about every photograph I take. It makes it more mine, and less a case of just being in the right place at the right time... less a matter of just having good luck.
