16. About three years ago, I sat down with Mario to talk about a few severe topics. That was basically the end of our short friendship, but it took me a while to notice he'd cancelled. I'm still not sure where exactly I fucked up.

I stopped bitching about christianity when it dawned to me that my grandparents had left all decisions about religion to their children. My parents, aunts/uncles did the same.

Aaw. Elephants. Monkeys. And bees! And prairie dogs! Why does it work for them?

However, bitching is okay as long as it's either interesting/informative or funny/entertaining. Boring bitching gets ignored on LJ anyway.

I just want to hop on a plane right now and give you the biggest, most sinerest, most genuine bear hug in all the world. I felt like crying and dry retching at the very same while reading this post, Miss Rachel. I am so incredibly upset that people have in the past - and are continuing to - emotionally and physically hurt you. I am so, so sorry you've had to go through that. You do not deserve that type of treatment. My god. Please know that there are many people out there in the world that truly love you and would never, ever, ever hurt you. Ever. Never.

It simply shows what a beautiful soul you are that you still have so much selfless love for people (who deserve your love), despite knowing such maligned people in your life. You're an awesome wonder to know. Absolutely awesome.

Y'know, I'm mostly over all that bad stuff. I'm quite good at keeping a healthy scientific distance. And it's definitely good I worked at my humor for the last two years. Did you know that our okCupid results for humor are total opposites? I still find that massively intriguing. We shouldn't be getting along at all. I swear I was hardly ever silly before we met.

And there's a lot of things I'd do differently now. Like, I'd try to never get into any discussions with people like him again. He looked really promising for some time. Sigh.
