I'm home! Yeah! The trip was great but I am exhausted. Averaging 4 hours of sleep per night dosen't work for me. So I love espresso. I've been thinking about getting an espresso machine for a while now. I love to cook and see this as an extension of cooking and although I don't go to Starbucks on a daily basis, I like good coffee drinks and would like to be able to afford more of them. I'm back from Miami! I survived 6 16-hour days of work. Days were long. I got there last Monday and didn't see the beach or the convention until Saturday. Monday I spent getting things set up at the hotel and getting the seating chart ready to take to Kinkos, then going to Kinkos and ordering $150 worth of printing. I was rejected from Columbia's Arts Administration program (they wanted more work experience) but, strangely, I got an interview for Columbia's MBA prgram, which is more competitve than Yale's, much more competitive than the arts admin program, and very well regarded. I will interview with an alum in Minneapolis next week!
