Just saying hello, and I'm glad you are writing here again, especially if it helps you sort stuff out.
I like your list - my brain would probably concentrate on all the negative ones and CONVENIENTLY skim over the positive ones. Why? Why does brain have such a hard time believing the nice things? Stupid brain.
In other news, we might be over your way in the Summer - we should like it very much to share time, space, food and beverages with you (my stupid brain typed 'beerages' - I guess they'll be ok too)

My psychologist recently gave me a handout recently about why, evolution-wise, we're inclined to focus on the negative and not remember the positive as much. Something about how our ancestors had to be hyper-vigilant about potential threats to survive. It takes a lot of work to focus on the positive!
