Question for you!

Oct 11, 2006 10:16

I found a letter yesterday that I addressed to a certain person I still talk with on a regular basis that I apparently never got around to delivering. This letter is 7-8 years old. I have no idea what's inside.

Do I give it to them, or do I open it?

Open. What if it's angry and you'd offend the person? What if it says "I'm sorry to hear your grandpa has cancer, but he'll be fine!" AND THEN THE GRANDPA DIED?

Ohhhh my goodness. Open it!! D:

I know it's nothing like that...but you're #7, i think, for "open it."

:-) I'm wondering what's in it, though!

Totally open it. If only as a re-fressher on what was going on 7-8 years ago. Then you can write a new letter with "guess what I found,... blah blah blah..."

Plus, it will avoid all the horrible consequences of non-sequitors and stuff said completely out of context.

So yours makes 2 votes for "open it"

Make mine 4 for open. Who knows what kind of fool I would make of myself if I didn't open it. Like lavedergem said, it's easier to open it now than suffer consequences or hurt feelings.

I'd open it.

Then maybe write an "update" regarding it and send it. :)
