Much as I love the show, I have spotted a major continuity/accuracy error in today's Psych episode.  The error is based on the fact that trees grow from it apical meristem  and therefore a bullet that was lodged in a tree 5 or so years ago would be no higher off the ground today than it was at the time it was first embedded in the tree's trunk.

In a recent on line discussion about the attempted bombing this past Christmas holiday, a couple of posters made some claims I strongly disagree with. The year began and I noticed a few of my students wearing rosaries around their necks. At first I thought it meant this simply meant a larger number of kids that had gone to to Baltimore Catholic Middle Schools were attending our school and the students proudly displaying a parting graduation gift from their former school. We just got a text message from our son at Basic training.  He is "Soldier of the Cycle".  As my wife writes in her FB posting:
