I Have Seen Star Trek!

The folks from New England Fan Experience had passes for a pre-screening of the new "Star Trek" movie and were looking for people who would show up in costume (any costume). So I went in my Mad Scientist gear and got to see it for free. :D

Yay! Free Trekness is good. I'm glad the movie didn't suck. That's always a worry.

It did not suck! I suppose it wasn't entirely free, in that I ended up buying theater-priced snacks.

Ah, a review from someone whose opinion I actually value. I've been very wary of it, based on the ads, so my plan is to wait and hear what folks I like have to say about it and then decide from there.

I am going to see it at the Tuesday screening, I gots no Star Trek costume...lol, I should go as a Reaver instead!

I'm going to wear some version of the mad scientist outfit to CSTS, since we get Dr. Horrible this year as well. :)
