The landscape changed while I wasn't looking and I've noticed a new tempo on the playground when surrounded by other mothers. The days of drool, bounce and sleeplessness are gone. The age of soccer, enrichment and competition are on. How exhausting! I now don't ask questions such as, "What do you guys do after school?" or "What did you do this

I hear ya. I attended a field trip this week with Aidan and I struggled to talk with the other moms. I like that you said you had a relaxed weekend. We let Aidan watch movies almost all day. Schedules are for the week- we all need down time.
