so, let me get this straight. you are against the killing of us soldiers and iraqi people, HOWEVER, you will protest for the ,existing, right to terminate a pregnancy(kill and unborn child). You can argue all day and night that a foetus is not a human until birth, but it is still potential life. I bet you guys oppose the death penalty too, eh?
yes, i am pro-choice, and i am quite proud to be. i do not think that the government has control over what women can do (or cannot do) with their bodies. my body is my propertry, and no one has the right to tell me what i can and can't do with it.
keep in mind that abortion is still legal. and the pro life arguement is not about what you can do with your body but the fact that you are terminating a life. For some crazy reason, people believe this to be immoral. and yes the government has a right to tell you what you can and cannot do with your body. For instance, you cannot legally attempt suicide, you cannot be euthenzed, you cannot murder someone with your body, you cannot commit treason with your body and you cannot hold a bank teller at gunpoint with your body. So, why would you think that abortion is any different?
yes, but abortion directly effects WOMEN and women's bodies, how can these men who occupy the white house continually think that they can place laws on women's bodies? what about when a women must have an abortion because it will have a serious effect on HER health, should we concentrate on saving a foetus, or saving a women? and yes, perhaps, there is a time, later in the pregnancy when the foetus is able to live outside the womb, but women are smart enough to have an abortion within the first weeks of pregnancy. Studies show that most abortion happen within the first trimester.
