in this world money builds armies and destroys nations, its the same with workers and companies, something is always controling the action and usual is motivated by that chance of gaining more money/power.

plus not fining her would bring up contradiction about whether shes going free just because shes famous.
shes just the unlucky one. they need to find some way to get the message across to people

she's a scapegoat, but you have to wonder why Ken Leigh is free to do whatever the fuck he wants while she faces prison time. Her little crime spree only earned her thousands, while Ken Leigh flat out steals billions, not to mention that there was no victim in her crime, compared to the thousands of lives that Ken Leigh and Enron destroyed.

martha stewart is not being targeted because she is a woman or successful. she broke the law, plain and simple. I find it funny that you should support her. From what ive read you are very anti- wealth (especially when that wealth belongs to a white person)and anti-big business. Both things Martha supports and stands for. If you are going to condemn the CEO's of Enron and Arthur Anderson and Halliburton you have to include Martha in the mix. Otherwise you are being a bit hypocrite.

i never said i supported martha stewart and her business, i said that i support the law - and it not being manipulated - and thanks to our government and our administration - the law and the people are being manipulated every day - martha stewart is just an example - of how - our country successfully pays no attention those who should be prosecuted and sent to jail/ impeached on good strong standing charges. Martha and her bogus charges which i suggest you go and read the specifics was just a distraction - to keep the american peoples eyes away from the real issues
and yes it sucks - but the truth is that martha being a woman has a major role in all of this
