I know I haven't posted here in short of forever, I know that. But there were a few updates I wanted to share, if anyone is still listening (and if you are, you totally rock). Because exciting internet things are happening, between me and shah_of_blah, which is to say we're writing a...

XD really? i'm not sure i'm gonna post it online, just cause i'm afraid of copywright theft...not that the screenplay is super-amazing, um, it's a silly little romcom, but i spent a LOT of time on it, you know?

but for starters i will totally answer questions ABOUT screenplay writing, if you have any. which i know isn't at all the same thing!

how about you--have you made any gorgeous art lately?

Definitely understood. If you ever want to/feel comfortable, though, you could always PM or something :) In the mean time, I'm re-working on a screenplay I started about 3 years ago, so if I think of any questions to ask you, I certainly will!

Hmmm. Sadly, no real arts since the Merlin drawing, which was, wow, like a year and a half ago :/ Icons are still at threelocks :D

Gleeeeee do itttt. I'd be interested to hear what you think - it's so much fun to watch, especially when there's good songs, but it can often be problematic for me.

hahaha, okay, so i wrote up a mini-review of the season finale (...and i mighta been kinda harsh. hm.) that my cowriter is gonna look over...and then i definitely have an essay-in-process in my head about how they seem to get away with saying really non-PC things because they're teens, and that's not quite exactly okay. do those count? : )

what kind of dollhouse essays? actually we might do a dollhouse overview deal at SOME point (first up is buffy, and then probably doctor who)

anyway, i should be posting a link to our first reviews (maybe including glee?) before the end of the week!

I'm watching a show called Reaper and really loving it. I wanna see season 3 of True Blood but it won't be on in NZ for a long time. I have a line from The Fall stuck in my head all the time, well 2 of them today. My liver is playing up and my doctor has no clue why and it's starting to piss me off.

I wanna see the screenplay! And the blog!

I've heard of Reaper, but I honestly know very little about it. You should tell me more! Which lines from the fall? I'm so sorry about your liver, that sounds terribly unfun.

Blog should be up by the end of this week! I'm a little hesitant to post my screenplay, even chunks of it, because of copyright theft? I don't know if that's completely ridiculous.

But on the other hand, um, it's funny you live in NZ (Which I think I knew at some point?), because much my screenplay is set there...even though I've never been. Which I feel like is not the ideal basis for a screenplay! So I might bug you for some background-y knowledge/fact checking at some point, if you wouldn't mind too much!

Reaper is very funny. This is copied from the IMDb page:
On his 21st birthday, Sam discovers his parents sold his soul to the devil before birth and he must now be a bounty hunter for the devil until he dies.
Also, he works in a home improvement store and his best friend is called Sock and he's totally nuts.

The liver thing seems to be getting better, got my blood test results today and some of the numbers are going down, no idea why or how but hey!

Re the screenplay, I don't think worrying about stuff like that is ridiculous at all. Could you do a hidden copyright thing like cleolinda has going at m15m.

So he sank to the bottom of the pool... and I don't believe are the 2 lines from The Fall stuck in my head at the moment.

Right. I'll better get to bed. Gonna read the Two Tylers tomorrow. I don't really watch Doctor Who but I know the characters because a lot of my friends are fan and I have seen bits of Wonderfalls (got the DVD for Christmas, need to watch it).

Okay, the part where this show has a character named "Socl" may have convinced me. I'm still working my way though Bones (season 2 of 5!), buit I'll keep it in mind as a future show!

Okay, well, mostly the screenplay is trying to make light fun at the area? It's sort of an America-in-a-foreign-land theme. : )

YAY, are you really? You have to let me know what you think/just comment so I know you read it! It's basically my first full-length fanfic, the longest non-screenplay I've ever written (not that it's particuarly long, but i tend to think in shorter bursts), so i'm always delighted to know it's actually being read!

1. Blog sounds very exciting. Would love a link once it's up and running. You've picked a good bunch of shows too. The Buffy, Dexter and Doctor Who ones would really interest me. :)

2. I didn't realise this was finished. I must have missed the last part. Definitely going to read it when I get some time. :)

3. Merlin is great. I love it because it's a silly family type show - almost like a fantasy version of Doctor Who - that you can just sit and enjoy without having to think too much. Arthur and Merlin are quite adorable together and I'd love to read any fic you have (assuming that's the paring you're talking about) whether there is any snogging or not. Cutesy dialogue is what those two do best. Also, Dr. Horrible Knitting Projects sound awesome. :)

4. Pusing Daisies and Wonderfalls could be interesting to blog/meta about. I've also quite recently started watching Chuck. That show is a lot of fun too

3.Oh, I'm totally writing about Arthur and Merlin, they've more or less become my new OTP. I just adore them.

4. I should definitely get some Brian Fuller meta in there! Any ideas for what to write about for PD/Wonderfalls? (I'll admit, I've always wanted to write an essay comparing his 3 shows. I might even have notes for that essay lurking about somewhere!)

Making icons is how you learn to make icons, in my experience, and contests only make that better, since you have more inspiration than formal! I'm totally gonna take a look at your icons. : )
(P.S. If you ever need icon help, I'd be more than happy to answer questions if I can!)

And I also need to look at the Meme you're doing. That's an impressive amount of posting!

3. Yay! My sister and I are quite in love with Arthur and Merlin too. The number of times Merlin sneaks into Arthur's room and catches Arthur without his shirt on amuses us. :P

4. A 3 show comparison would definitely be interesting, even though I've not seen Dead Like Me yet. I might have to get back to you with other ideas - I've recently been re-watching Pushing Daisies. Still so very pretty

3. Hahaha, I know what you mean. And actually, it amuses the actors, too. (That is to say, Colin + Bradley have a running count of the times atthur is shirtless in their commentary on 2x01....don't ask me why i know that!)
