I was able to get to dad's doctor at 8:30AM, a major accomplishment for me. He had a day of tests, memory and cognative. Wore him out and wore me out, too. I'm forcing myself to stay awake so that I can turn in early tonight.

My dad was put on Aircept, the new Alzheimer's drug and for the past couple of weeks has been more present than he has been for a year. In the past couple of days it is as if his body is building a resistance to the drug. He is confinced he bought the little nightstands next to the beds in his room.
