Fact #1: I AM A CONSUMER WHORE (and how!): There are currently 3 different types of face cleansing products in my bathroom cubby. Yes, 3. This was not done on purpose, and if time or interest ensued I could tell the story of how it happened and it is a story that makes sense, but nevertheless, there they are, and I use all of them. Hah, I hear ya. I now have a couple different biore things, and the prize of all corporate facial cleansing prizes: St Ives Medicated Apricot Scrub. Mmm, scrub. With medication. And apricots. And those weird little "exfoliating" things that are supposedly made out of 100% natural Brazilian Uber-Walnut shells (and we believe them, because we simply want them to be 100% natural brazilian uberwalnut shells, for whatever godawful reason we might have) :D

you know.... i dont wash my face. it is so bizzare, but when i wash my face i break out. my face likes to be left alone. the only thing it likes is oil of olay sunscreen. it is quite a fickle patch of skin.

st. ives apricot scrub is simply delightful somehow, even despite the fact that it feels like rubbing your face with sandpaper! it is one of the things in my life that makes everything look a little better. i think it may be the somewhat-masochistic nature of its sandpaper-ness. whatever it is, i must admit i'm a consumer whore as well and in general, everyday life, i'm perfectly fine with that most of the time. and moreover, my skin loves me for it.
