Ah! The purpose of the mystery device is unveiled. Very cool gadget. Loved the Carson, Rodney and John interaction. I have a bad feeling about rest of the day though. I do not think it will go as well as they hoped...

Thanks! I was a little nervous about this chapter. It didn't seem to flow very well and the characters felt a little off to me, so it's good to know it wasn't a complete disaster. :)

They are just to funny. I also don't like Hospital's and the such. I spent to much time there. Love it. You're almost at the end!

Thanks! I don't think too many people do like hospitals, that's one of the things that makes it odd that we enjoy reading/writing whump-fic. :)

*Nod* For all their techie advancements, the Ancients were clueless when it came to the really important stuff. But I will forgive them since they provided so much fodder for whumping. ;)

I'm really enjoying this -- it's interesting seeing how the plot is falling together! Something tells me their bright idea is actually not going to turn out to be a very good idea at all ...

The Rodney/John moments were perfect. I loved Rodney offering to let John kill him even though he was obviously terrified - that is so Rodney. He'll do what's needed but that doesn't mean he's happy about it. I'm glad Carson came up with an alternate plan. It has to be better than Rodney's . . . right???????

Thanks! It makes me very happy to hear that. I was really worried that I had them entirely out of character in this chapter. When I read back through it the other night I was cringing all the way at their reactions, and the transitions seemed really bumpy too, so I'm relieved.

I would think Carson's plan would work better than Rodney's, but hey, you never know what might happen! ;)
