boffo posts really bad TV shows, and since I don't watch TV (except for BSG), I usually get my conversational tidbits and google fodder from his links.

However, a co-worker just informed me of my latest candidate for Worst Show Ever. I present to you.

That's pretty horrifying. I've never actually seen it, but recently I've been seeing it a lot (apparently in reruns, I didn't realize how old it was) on some random channel as I scroll through the guide. So it's currently being shown in reruns somewhere. It might be E! or TLC or something like that.

The person who brought this to my attention said "Bravo", which as far as I know is some sort of gay pride TV channel?

Either way, it's killing America. :(

The only reason I'm aware of it is because earlier today I was scrolling through the guide and saw the title, and thought "Wow, I wonder if that's about people throwing a surprise wedding for their friends/family? What a terrible idea!" And then I read the description and saw what it was actually about, and realized that as terrible an idea as mine was, it was way better than the actual premise.

I thought Bravo showed "Inside the Actors' Studio", but maybe I'm wrong. It definitely shows "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy."

I always despise any and all of these marriage "reality" specials/shows. Just checking the marriage success rate of "The Bachelor" series makes you wonder who keeps ordering these things, not to mention all of the other ones...

Searching quickly, not Youtube, Dailymotion nor Veoh have any clips or anything. There is no IMDB page for it, but then given that there seem to have only been two specials (2000, 2001), maybe it doesn't warrant it as much? Searching TV Guide after reading the last comment, "Surprise Wedding" is next showing on WE (WeTV, Entertainment for Women) on March 29 at 10:00 AM. I didn't see it on any basic cable stations.
I did google for both of them and waded through the first 100 hits of each and I wanted to share some findings:

Fox Reality's website for the first show: Not that interesting, but you do get to see a close up of one female candidate, one male candidate and a long shot of 4 female candidates.
