I have just read a book by Dean Koontz
I get the impression that Mr. Koontz is trying to show us how very 'deep' and 'smart' he is, but the way the book was written just came off as pretentious.
Not the story, the actual meat and bones story was fine, enjoyable even. It's just the writing that comes off as pretentious. -
