My grandpa is gone...

My grandpa passed away. It wasn't a shock or anything (not a total one at least), he’s been in and out of the hospital for a while ever since his mild stroke (everything went downhill after that), but I don't think one can ever really be ready for something like this happening ( Read more... )

I'm very sorry for your loss. It's sad that he passed away so close to the time of your family reunion, but that will be a good time for everyone in your family to retell fond stories about your grandfather and celebrate his life.

You're family is in my thoughts and prayers.

and you will always miss him, but you will look back and remeber all sorts of fun things and happy time, and he will always be with you.
i do understand how hard it must be, as i lost my nanna not to long ago.
your hands must be getting sore from typing so many thank yous :P
