I  hate how I have to bite back comments like, "This campus is dead on weekends." Even when I'm just thinking them.

Counselors from all over the country have flocked to NIU to assist in our "healing" process. For yesterday and today there has been a counselor in every classroom, giving his or her spiel and then reminding us that, have we need of any counseling, it's everywhere, we need only look for it.

 Classes are cancelled until Monday, Feb. 25th. They are going to add an extra week to the end of our Spring calendar. Half of me wished that the schedule didn't have to be disrupted. Half of me is delighted that I get this break.

All classes are cancelled. A state of emergency has been declared. A teacher's been shot. Happy Valentine's Day?

I can't tell...but I think I'm pissed.

Every now and then this whole campus smells like a barn. And it's wonderful.

There are flyers for exotic dancing classes (women only!) hanging up everywhere.

I experienced another strange dream last night. It began with this girl having an asthma attack while swimming in the ocean. Me and the other girls who were there tried to save her, but she died.
