I passed my comprehensive exams for my Masters in Education and my thesis was accepted! I will be able to walk in the fall graduation since there is no summer commencement. I can't believe it is over and I passed.

Sometimes I really hate to be right. I wish I could pretend to believe but damn my mind warps my fantasy world.

Today RL asked me to marry him. It was 3:30 in the morning and we had been traveling back home from our trip to Canada. I thought he would never ask....

I said yes.

Here we are on our way home after a lovely week in Lumsden, RL's hometown. This was one of the best and most relaxing vacations I have had in a long time. The town where RL grew up is quaint and friendly. Everything you could ever need is located within a 4-5 block radius. Yep. Still on the road. 1500 miles into our trip and we are approaching Mt. Rushmore. I have always wanted to see this national monument. The weather has been beautiful, the scenery grand, and everything is wonderful. I love traveling this way. After a late night of boozing, (no ladies and gentlemen, I did not get naked and dance on the bar) we slept in and lounged around for most of Saturday. After a late night of girl talk, Brenda and I actually made it up and out by 9:30 this morning. We headed down to the Alamo, found terrific parking, toured the fort, and took some fun pictures. I have to say that I thought my trip was going to be a bad one. I based that on the night's restlessness the day before I left. I could not sleep. I got all of about 1 hour and had to get up at 4:45 to be on the plane that took off at 6:40. My poor RL didn't get much sleep either and had to drive me to the airport.
