i'm in the sixth grade again...holding back tears while my dad scalds me and yells at me because of my grades... i was caught off guard, because i was actually excited to show him...i didnt do bad at all...but it wasnt good enough...and he says i shouldnt think its good enough...but what if i think its as good as i can do? I cant use my fuckin mom

Wake up Matt. Grades are overrated. True they are a part of life we have to work at but they are letters on a piece of paper. Life is what matters. Not pieces of paper.

...bbuuuttt, until we're on our own, we have to play by its rules and do things we may not want to do. like, study. i should talk, i hate studying. but if you just sit down and do that work now, the rest of your life, the years of your life that matter, will be a lot easier for you. it sucks i know, and i should take my own advice, but i have faith in ya, love!

Matt, really, you are not average, at all. And I'm not just saying that for obvious reasons. If you are honestly happy with your grades, then be happy. There's always that, 'oh, you can do better,' but that applies to everyone. There are so many other things that you excel in, that no one else does. You're an awesome kid, but you know that. But really, grades don't mean much. You're wicked smart. You always use words that I have no idea what they mean. But I hope you feel better, and I think you did very well and improved really well.

you shouldn't say that you're average. cause if you keep saying it over and over you'll actually start to believe it and them assume that's all you can do.

if you say that you're average and can only do so good, then you relaly can only do that good and you really will be average. don't give yourself the goal of being average. you are more then average matt. make it so you can really show that. sure you're satisfied with you're grades because theyre average. but wouldnt you rather be extremely excited and proud because your grades signify you're more then average? we all love you matt and i know taht youre above average. dont let this get you down. you have another quater to make YOURSELF proud, and thats all that really matters.

well the thing about it is...i dont give a fuck what my grades are...i brought the grades up so i could stay at central with all my friends...that's the kind of thing that gives me initiative...if he told me to get b's i would have gotten them...grades dont mean shit...i know i'm smarter than a shit load of people at school, but i also know that, seeing how they act...it doesnt mean much...w/e tho...i just lack the prowess i guess
