It has come to the attention that even though things are going pretty well up here in Muncie, life's still pretty much empty. Something about this town seems to stunt the growth of any meaningful connections with people that I feel like are imminent

That empty feeling is the worst. I've been there. Maybe not for three years running, but I've been there and it's awful.

I can't really offer anything but sympathy though. Sorry.
