This will probably be a short post. I'm finished the volunteer portion of trip. I wasn't sad about leaving the village because I would miss the kids, but just with the thought that most of them, if not all of them will never get out of that situation. This place is incredible. the difference between the tourist areas and everywhere else is huge. I'd only describe it as beautiful where there are no people and the tourist areas. I got into Miami this afternoon. It's quite different. When I first went outside all I thought was "I don't want to go to the Dominican Republic, if it's this hot here, it'll be even hotter there." Is it wrong for me to be so anxious about the last Harry Potter book? I'm excited about it because I want to know what happens next. But I'm sad that it's the last book. Then no more Harry Potter. What will I have to look forward to? My life will become aimless without the next harry potter book to look forward to.

The most amusing thing that happened to me today was at work. A man came to pick up a hold for his wife. It was the book good in bed, which is from the chick-lit genre. When he saw it he said, "Good in bed, can I get a bag?" It made me smile all day. Which is pathetic, my life is a joke.
