It's cold here. I'm curled up with my laptop in a big poofy chair next to the fireplace, waiting for a friend to show up. Behind me, someone's using a plasma cutter to slice up metal grating that's sitting on a pallet on the front of the forklift.

I had a very long, detailed dream last night about packing and re-packing my backpack. I kept discovering new pockets that my bag doesn't actually have.

Dammit, I want to do something! My body's stopped hurting just barely enough from all the climbing and burning and hitting with ropedarts, and I want to go run around and yell at things and climb trees! I'm so sick of being in this office. I am so fucking done with this place. Let's go already!

I think right now I'm in a place where I don't want sex with random people. The idea of having sex just for its own sake, without emotional connection, isn't all that appealing. My brief experiment with eating fish, which began at Burning Man, is now over. I've discovered flax, which improves my mood in the same way as fish and is cheaper, and I've also been reading about the environmental impact of commercial fishing.
