first week of classes

So this past week was the first full week of classes.  It went relatively well, besides one little mishap...we had auditions and stuff on Monday and when they posted the results, my name was at the top of the list, so I assumed that I had placed first and was all excited and told a bunch of people.  I went back the next day and at the top of the

not to continue bursting your bubbles or anything, but pretty much every university in America doesn't hold classes on friday anymore. VCU music was behind the trend. too bad public schools don't operate with the same laziness as universities.

haha i know right...it's really funny because if you try to schedule a lesson on friday all the professors are like "no I'm too busy that day...meetings and stuff" and some of them are just honest and say "I never come in on Friday" haha it cracks me up...

Somehow I have a feeling I'm going to end up going to the school anyway on Friday's to do work.
