Today I made a new LJ account under which I will be posting my fanfiction.

HEY. You know what word I hate? Hors d'oeuvre, that's what.

When I see it written, I always pronounce it "whores-de-over". It takes me a minute to realize what it is and how to pronounce it properly, and I can just see me reading aloud in class at some point in the distant future and saying it wrong. The French language is a jerk.

So... Japanese oral exam on Tuesday. Haven't studied for it yet. :)

The Snow Ball (I mentioned the semi-formal in my last entry) was okay. We got a decent turn out, but setting up took twice as long as we expected, and most of hall council couldn't make it to the dance on time because of it. :D

Today was the first time I've ever ridden the high school bus.

Two people were taken away in handcuffs and two left on an ambulance.

I got up this morning and started to get ready for school, but Mom told me that I should just stay home and rest. I don't have a fever and my congestion isn't too deep in my lungs, so there's no reason to go to the doctor at this point in time (since it's not an infection, she's not going to be able to prescribe any medicine I don't already have). So, today I was all like *walk, walk* and then I was like *foot colliding with corner of the wall* which led to *falling over* and *deep gasp* followed by "AH!" In conclusion, I may or may not have broken one of my toes. My baby toe on the left foot swelled (and still is swelling) to about twice the size it should be. Hurray!

I'm doing Spanish homework. I put into an online translator what I thought translated to "a baked potato". As it turns out, in online translator speech, it means, "the Pope cooked to the furnace." XDDD Then I asked it what "baked" translated to. I put that back into the Spanish part to get it back into English, and it suddenly changed to, "spanish ( Read more... )
